Key Features

  • Create email templates with multiple variants for anti-spam
  • Manage recipient lists with custom fields
  • Send emails directly through Gmail via Chrome extension
  • Track email opens
  • Detailed analytics and campaign performance metrics
  • IP blacklisting to exclude self-opens

Requirements

  • • Google Chrome browser
  • • Gmail account for sending emails

The Chrome extension allows you to send campaign emails directly from your Gmail account. It integrates seamlessly with Gmail and pulls campaign data from your dashboard.

Download and install the SoftTechLab Email Composer extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2

Open Gmail

3

Authenticate

Click on the Email Campaigns icon in Gmail and log in with your SoftTechLab account credentials. This links the extension to your campaigns.

  • • Pause/resume sending capability

Templates define the content of your emails. Each template can have multiple variants to avoid spam filters and improve deliverability.

2

Add Subject & Body

Write your email subject and body content. Use the rich text editor for formatting.
3

Add Template Variants

Create multiple variants of your email with slight variations. The system will automatically rotate between variants when sending to reduce spam detection.

Available Placeholders

[var1]- Variable 1
[var2]- Variable 2
[var3]- Variable 3
[var4]- Variable 4
[var5]- Variable 5

Recipient lists contain the email addresses and personal data for your campaign recipients.

1

Create a List

Navigate to Recipient Lists and click 'Create List'. Give your list a meaningful name.
2

Add Recipients

Add recipients manually one by one, or use CSV import for bulk adding.
3

CSV Import

Upload a CSV file with columns: email, var1, var2, var3, var4, var5. The first row should contain column headers.

CSV Format Example

Pro Tips

  • • Keep Gmail tab active while sending for best performance
  • • Start with small batches (50-100) to test deliverability
  • • Use different sending intervals to appear more natural
  • • Monitor your Gmail sending limits (typically 500/day)

Track when recipients open your emails and view engagement data in your analytics dashboard.

What You Can Track

  • Email open events with timestamps
  • First open and subsequent opens
  • Device type (desktop/mobile)
  • Geographic location data
  • Campaign-wide open rates

Where to View Tracking Data

  • Campaign Logs: Per-recipient open status
  • Analytics: Overall campaign performance
  • Sender Analytics: Performance by sending account

When you view your own emails for testing, your IP address is recorded as an "open". Use IP blacklisting to exclude your own views from analytics.

1

Find Your IP

Visit whatismyipaddress.com or similar service to find your current IP address.
2

Add to Blacklist

Go to IP Blacklist page and click 'Add IP'. Enter your IP address and a description (e.g., 'Home', 'Office').
3

Automatic Filtering

All future email opens from blacklisted IPs will be excluded from your campaign statistics.

When to Add IPs

  • • Your home and office IP addresses
  • • Team members' IP addresses
  • • VPN IPs you frequently use
  • • Any IP you use for testing emails

The analytics dashboard provides comprehensive insights into your email campaign performance.
